Art Teacher

The role of an art teacher is to supervise and inspire students with their artwork as well as teach different kinds of visual art mediums. Art teachers are also required to prepare and design lesson plans for students according to their age group and abilities. Teachers should be able to teach and manage a class of students (min. 6-8) professionally.

  • Explain art processes, including drawing, painting, and handicraft.
  • Develop lesson plans according to the students’ age group.
  • Assess student’s learning progression.
  • Encourage students to be creative and imaginative.
  • Create a lively and interesting learning environment.
  • Give proper instruction on tools, equipment use and care.
  • Work on students’ strengths and weaknesses.
  • Setting up the classroom for lessons and cleaning up afterwards.
  • Communicate with parents regarding student’s class performance and progression.
  • Planning for events or birthday parties.
  • Clean up and maintain the classroom cleanliness.
  • Assure that students are clear about every lesson’s objective.
  • Communicate with parents and work together with them to come up with a cohesive enrichment program and for their children.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Working experience in the related field is beneficial for this position.
  • Preferably Entry Level specialising in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
  • Adequate knowledge of current art knowledge and early childhood education.
  • Must be able to work on weekends.

  • Lead Management
  • Manage all HiArt’s social media accounts
  • Content creation including social media post copywriting, infographics, etc
  • Tracking and analysis of data from all digital marketing initiatives and operations
  • Market research and analysis of new geographies for expansion
  • Support events such as exhibitions and roadshows
  • Coordinate the design of promotional material and distribution via online and offline channels
  • Work with designer to come up with engaging and attractive collaterals

• Degree in marketing or its equivalent 

• 2-3 years in marketing/marketing communications preferred. Entry level may be considered. 

• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics 

• Experience with marketing campaigns on social media such as Facebook, Instagram

• Familiarity with B2C advertising campaigns 

• Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress

Customer Relations Executive (CRE)

HiArt is looking for a front desk receptionist who is customer service oriented to support our outlet’s administrative work and to answer parent and student inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone.
  • Answering inquiries.
  • Maintain and sort incoming emails for the school.
  • Preparing statistics and handling data, such as attendance figures.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Checking, ordering and maintaining office and pantry supplies.
  • Liaising with potential students, other institutions, government departments and external organisations.
  • Helping with course approval and evaluation activities.
  • Timetabling and planning events.
  • Administering and coordinating student recruitment, examinations and assessment activities.
